A little quiet

 Club was a little quiet tonight and there was probably more chatting among our members than actual carving. George and Jim were in charge of making the tea this evening. 

We're currently thinking of attending a couple of shows this year in order to promote the club and carving in general. If you are interested in joining the club please feel free to pop along for a chat on club night.

 Last night we gained two new members. A smashing young couple came along and made a really good start on their first carving. It's great to see younger people coming along.  As ever , if anyone fancies coming along to meet us all and see whether carving is something you'd like to try you will be made very welcome.

 It was nice to see some potential new club members tonight. They'd come along after reading about us in a local magazine. We've had a few newcomers these past few months. It's good to see younger people showing an interest.
