It was lovely to see Eddie back at the club on Tuesday. Our club has got to be the friendliest of clubs. The topics of conversation frequently have absolutely nothing to do with woodcarving. George, Jim and Cherie have a little garden challenge going and plants are swapped on a regular basis. Next year they're planning on growing Black Russian tomatoes to see who can produce the heaviest tomato. If fun friendly clubs are your thing you'd be made very welcome. And you'd actually manage to get some carving done amidst all the chit-chat chat and banter

It’s so refreshing to hear about a club that’s about more than just the hobby itself—friendship, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition with the tomato challenge make it feel alive.
